Riding Near Klamath Falls
We have a choice of three wonderful areas to ride near Klamath Falls:
Lake of the Woods: This is the area around Highway 140, between Klamath Falls and Medford. There are many miles of trails, groomed by the Klamath Basin Snowdrifters. More adventurous riders can go off trail on Pelican Butte and Brown Mountain. A trip to Fourmile Lake results in a stunning view of Mount McLoughlin. (See background photo at the home page.)
Annie Creek: Lying south and east of Crater Lake National Park is an extensive network of trails groomed by the Chiloquin Ridgeriders. East of Highway 62 is predominantly open ponderosa forest, whereas the west side of the highway is thicker fir and spruce forest, leading to some good off-trail riding on rolling terrain in burnt forest. Groomed trails on the east side lead all the way up the east side of Crater Lake National Park to Diamond Lake.
Medicine Lake: Blah, blah

Schedule of Events
We have a full agenda of rides and events!

Thursday, January 29th - The day will kick off with breakfast at the Annie Creek Sno-Park, provided by the Chiloquin Ridgeriders club. Participants will then enjoy the riding that the Annie Creek area has to offer. In the evening, there will be brats and brews at the Lake of the Woods Resort, which can be conveniently reached from Annie Creek by the Westside Road (County Road 531).
Friday, January 30th - Riding from the Great Meadow and Lake of the Woods, including group rides, riding with Levi LaVallee, and a clinic with Luke Youngberg. Pizza dinner provided by the snowcat reps, and there will be a Casino Night at the Lake of the Woods Resort.
Saturday, January 31st - More at the Great Meadow/Lake of the Woods: OSSA meetings at Lake of the Woods Resort, poker run, vintage snowcat show. Evening Banquet at the Running Y Ranch Resort, featuring guest speaker Levi LaVallee, auction and giveways, including the grand prize of a new snowmobile!

VIP Guest Riders
We are pleased to announce that Levi LaVallee will be returning as a guest rider, and speaker at the banquet. Levi is a professional snowmobiler and Longville, MN native. He is a 13 time Winter X Games Medalist (7 of which are gold), a Snocross Champion, the first athlete to attempt a double backflip on a snowmobile. Levi holds the current world record for longest snowmobile distance jump of 412 feet and was inducted into the Snowmobile Hall of Fame in 2024.Also, Luke Youngberg will again be offering one or more clinics. Luke is a regular fixture at the OSSA Convention, and his clinics have been quite popular with attendees.

Auction and Giveaways
We will once again be giving away a brand new snowmobile to a lucky attendee of the OSSA Convention! Participants in the week's events will receive one or more tickets for each event attended, entering them in a drawing to win the sled, or any of a number of other prizes. Those will be awarded at the Saturday banquet - participants must be present to win. There will also be items up for silent auction at the banquet.

Lodging and Attractions
Attendees have a variety of lodging choices, from camping at the snow parks to the luxury of the Running Y Ranch Resort.
